Our cottage is a private Cape Cod getaway, perfect for a ''romantic escape'' to beautiful Orleans Village Center. Newly renovated in Spring 2005, with new windows and appliances, hardwood flooring throughout, and freshly painted. Bright, clean, smoke-free, well-maintained, comfortable Cape Cod cottage located in a lovely setting on the Orleans Town Cove - a perfect spot for a family vacation.
The first floor has a a spacious living room, dining and kitchen area, and a wrap-around sun-filled deck with breezy salt water views of the cove, which is great for kayaking.
The second floor has three bedrooms - a large, master bedroom with cathedral ceiling and view of the cove; a second bedroom with a reading area facing the town cove, a third cozy bedroom with 2 single beds, and a full bath.
The cottage is an easy hop, skip and jump to the town landing for quick access out on your kayak or canoe from the cove to wonderful Nauset Harbor with its islands and gentle blue water. Just a short walk down a path edged with native plants and filled with the chatter of birds.
Just a short drive brings you to either public beaches (Atlantic Ocean Nauset Beach is only 2.8 miles away while Bayside Skaket Beach is 2.5 miles), Nickerson State Park is 3 miles away for additional hiking,biking, fresh water swimming, or walk 1/4 mile to freshwater Crystal Lake.
Convenient in-town location makes it an easy walk to town, great restaurants, stores & galleries, ball games or tennis, the bike trail, public library for summer reading, gym, track, farmers market, sport fishing boat trips daily out of Rock Harbor, local live theatre, and all that Orleans has to offer. . . 0.10 mile to town, yet is well away from the hustle-bustle of these areas. This cute cottage on a quiet street has undergone a total remake and is ready for your relaxing Summer vacation.
